Cessa is operated by Island Gatzby, LLC. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

We collect:

• Email address, if provided
• Payment information processed securely via Stripe
• Written feedback, if you choose to leave it

We do not store full credit card numbers.

If you choose to leave written feedback, we store it anonymously to improve Cessa. It is never linked to your email or journal entries.

2. Journal Entries and Emotional Data

Anything you type in Cessa’s writing steps stays on your device and is erased at the end of each session. It is never sent to us or anyone else. No one at Cessa can view or access your journal entries.

3. How We Use Information

We use email addresses to:

• Send updates
• Respond to inquiries

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

Payments are processed through Stripe. Optional email signups and written feedback are collected through Netlify. Anonymous usage data is stored in Google Sheets. These providers may process your information according to their own privacy policies.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We collect anonymous usage data to improve Cessa. This includes which screens or steps you reach and which feeling you select (for example, “I feel numb or disconnected”), along with a random device ID and session ID. This data is never linked to your identity, email, or journal entries. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Children

Cessa is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your email data by contacting try.cessa@gmail.com.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated as the platform evolves.
